To explore the world of connected objects and new forms of storytelling, we partnered with Adidas to design custom hardware and software that analyzed and responded in realtime to the movements of users. We wanted the shoes to be playful, responsive, and most importantly, have a sense of humor. “Talking Shoes” for professional athletes could then be created, where instead of the shoe literally “talking” out loud, the data of how fast they ran, how high they jump, or how far they’d traveled could be used to create real-time ads with their analytics as the game was still being played.
